Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Lombard, Illinois (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking individuals who excel at maintaining and repairing production machinery in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Our team values those who bring strong mechanical and technical skills to help ensure production operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain production machines and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Repair production equipment during operations and conduct scheduled maintenance during service periods.
- Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair parts, and verify proper operation through testing and adjustments.
- Inspect machines, detect faulty operations or defective materials, and report unusual situations to supervision while maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
Required:
- Demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair and troubleshooting within an industrial environment, performing beyond basic preventative maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service tasks.
- Skilled use of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in maintenance duties.
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations in a production/manufacturing setting and promptly communicate any operational issues to proper supervision.
