Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Buyer
Location: Inver Grove, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven professional to manage purchasing operations and support procurement for a global leader in the agribusiness sector. Our team is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating critical materials and equipment for business operations across multiple production facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end purchasing processes, including processing requisitions and issuing purchase orders for capital, materials, and goods.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and terms, review purchase order acknowledgements, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct sourcing activities such as compiling materials and distributing bid packages (RFQs) for relevant departments.
- Handle daily communications with vendors and maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and resolutions.
Required:
- Experience in purchasing operations, including requisition processing and purchase order management.
- Proficiency in reviewing supplier quotes, terms, and conditions, along with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to compile and manage documentation for sourcing activities, such as preparing Request for Quote packages.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to resolve discrepancies and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
