Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Rochelle, Illinois (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to support our team in conducting analytical testing and maintaining quality standards in a dynamic industrial environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine testing on inbound, in-process, and finished products, ensuring timely and accurate results using computer-based lab equipment and bench-top chemistry techniques.
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including HPLC, IC, GC, Cell Counter, IR, NIR, and titrators, as well as perform routine maintenance on water treatment systems.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to address product quality challenges and participate in continuous improvement and training opportunities focused on product safety and quality knowledge.
- Promote and adhere to a strong safety culture by maintaining a clean work area, identifying and communicating workplace hazards, and following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in IT Quality Management, Quality Management, or Quality Assurance.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Willingness to remove piercings and jewelry during shifts to comply with feed safety and good manufacturing policies.
