Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an individual to support the development, provisioning, and checkout of complex automation systems using a Python and ROS2-based environment. Our team values technical proficiency and innovative problem-solving in fast-paced embedded hardware and software integration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update device drivers to support integration of COTS hardware into automation systems.
- Enhance and streamline the provisioning and build process through creation of automation scripts and tooling.
- Troubleshoot and validate software on testbeds and electronics hardware, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate within a dynamic environment, driving continuous improvements and rapid delivery cycles.
Required:
- Experience with Python software development in a professional or project setting.
- Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems and environments.
- Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills within hardware/software integration contexts.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation tools for development and provisioning purposes.
