Job Title: Color Design
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative designer to support a creative team responsible for seasonal color direction and storytelling in basketball apparel. Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of seasonal color design and direction for basketball apparel across signature, branded, and licensed collections.
- Present design concepts and narratives to both internal teams and external partners, supporting the development of compelling product stories.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Apparel Design, Product Management, and Development to communicate design intent and workshop prototypes.
- Manage and design presentation materials, ensuring design intent is effectively communicated at all stages of the development process.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BFA/MA/MFA) in graphic design, fashion design, industrial design, apparel design, material design, textile design, or a related field, or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar design role with a strong foundation/knowledge of textiles and color theory.
- Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Illustrator and proficiency in Photoshop; experience with Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate consumer insights into visual narratives and present to diverse audiences.
