Job Title: Project Specialist
Location: Pomona, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Specialist to play a pivotal role in executing complex substation programs at one of the foremost energy companies. Our team values precision and effectiveness, ensuring every project is delivered with excellence, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, plan, and execute up to 150 substation projects, ensuring alignment with budget and timelines.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate master schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating existing schedules for seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, timelines, risks, and deliverables while conducting thorough risk analysis.
- Communicate effectively across multiple departments and external contractors, facilitating data gathering and promptly resolving any issues.
Required:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 with a minimum of 7 years in project scheduling and capital projects/construction.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and SAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, construction management, business, finance, or project management, or a combination equivalent to a 4-year degree.
- Capability to travel to job sites on an as-needed basis, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
