Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ Late Shift
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in delivering high-quality patient support services. Our team works to ensure patients have accessible, seamless experiences related to prescription medications and healthcare programs.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies to address access to care and reimbursement needs.
- Communicate program information, eligibility, and reimbursement support while ensuring a high level of empathy and consumer satisfaction.
- Refer requests for escalation as needed and collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management, IT, and Contact Center for issue resolution.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as mail sorting and claims processing, and support other departments when needed.
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a health care or case management environment, preferably in a high-volume contact center.
- Experience with pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, clear writing, attention to correct spelling and grammar, and the ability to convey information in an easy-to-understand manner.
