Job Title: Machine Programmer
Location: North Hollywood, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking skilled professionals to support machining operations integral to the organization's prototype, test, and production hardware. Our team values technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, high-quality manufacturing for innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines, including tool selection, fixture setup, and raw material preparation.
- Program CNC equipment using models, drawings, or process instructions, and operate cutting equipment such as waterjets.
- Perform part cleaning, deburring, fitting, minor rework, and basic assembly, ensuring all work meets specifications through inspection with metrology tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and production staff to support shop operations, maintain equipment, and uphold safety and organizational standards including 5S practices.
Required:
- 5+ years of experience operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines in a machining shop environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and basic GD&T.
- Experience supporting prototype, test, or production machining while working with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in shop safety, equipment maintenance, 5S or similar lean practices, and use of standard machine shop tools such as mills, lathes, and saws.
