Job Title: EHS Specialist
Location: Dallas, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to play a critical role in ensuring environmental, health, and safety standards are met throughout the facility. Our team is committed to compliance and continuous improvement, striving to create a safe work environment for all employees by executing and monitoring robust EHS programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with regulatory agencies and coordinate site inspections, preparing and submitting permit applications and required documentation.
- Conduct periodic assessments, program reviews, and workplace evaluations to ensure EHS compliance and effectiveness.
- Deliver EHS-related education and training, lead incident investigations, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review vendor, contractor, and supplier activities, ensuring alignment with EHS program goals and site processes.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or closely related field.
- Direct experience with Powered Industrial Trucks, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment Assessments, Ergonomic Evaluations, Cranes and Hoist, and machine guarding.
- Ability to prepare compliance and technical reports, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective risk mitigations for business activities.
- Comfortable engaging team members, leading safety initiatives, and presenting ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
