Job Title: Sr Data Scientist
Location: Washington, District Of Columbia (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled professionals to build and deploy advanced machine learning models that drive critical business decisions. Our team plays an essential role in uncovering actionable insights from large and complex datasets to optimize operational outcomes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy machine learning models (regression, classification, time-series) for operational business use cases.
- Perform data preparation, feature engineering, and maintain high standards for data quality.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, data engineers, and project teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions.
- Mine structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, sharing findings in ways business stakeholders can leverage.
Required:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data science focusing on operational analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning libraries.
- Strong background in statistics including probability, inference, regression, and experimental design.
