Job Title: Transportation Billing Analyst
Location: McPherson, Kansas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team, supporting critical billing and reconciliation functions for transportation operations. Our team values accuracy, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving to ensure seamless customer service and financial processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve residual road and rail ticket discrepancies in partnership with internal billing teams.
- Process corrections and handle return load memos while collaborating with Collections and Credit teams regarding invoice-related questions.
- Maintain and update customer information in SAP, work within the Truck Transportation System (TMS), resend invoices and agreements as necessary.
- Manage customer service emails through a shared inbox, partner with sales representatives to address ticket posting issues, and execute month-end tasks including contract closure and report generation.
Required:
- Ability to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies for road and rail tickets.
- Experience handling invoice corrections, return load memos, and supporting collections processes.
- Proficiency in SAP for updating customer information and familiarity with the Truck Transportation System (TMS).
- Skills in managing customer service inboxes, partnering with sales teams, and performing month-end reporting and contract closure.
