Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to drive strategic publication planning and execution initiatives for global medical affairs teams. Our team values innovative thinking, effective cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in scientific communications to enhance data dissemination on an international scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate strategic planning and execution of comprehensive publication plans, collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive scientific publication meetings and workshops, fostering an environment of psychological safety, open communication, and diversity of opinion.
  • Oversee and optimize publication workflows by integrating AI-enabled tools and digital platforms, championing innovative strategies in data dissemination.
  • Manage third-party vendors to deliver high-quality publications on time and within budget, ensuring training and adherence to company standards and industry requirements.

Required:

  • Higher education degree (M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D.) or master’s degree in a biomedical discipline or equivalent experience in publication management.
  • 8-10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with at least half in medical affairs and 5-8+ years in medical publications, communications, or related functions within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of publication planning processes and industry guidelines (GPP, ICMJE, COPE, CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA) as well as experience with publication management software/systems.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools or digital technologies for scientific communications and publication processes.
