Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking driven professionals to help maintain, operate, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment for a dynamic facility. Our team relies on this position to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and reliability of essential systems across interior and exterior environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on building mechanical, electrical, HVAC/R, and associated installed systems and equipment.
- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems, plumbing systems, electrical distribution equipment, and building infrastructure as assigned.
- Conduct facility inspections, address interior and exterior repairs, and report conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, complete hazard assessments, and comply with relevant state, county, or city ordinances and codes.
Required:
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, including expertise in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
- Universal CFC recovery certification required for HVAC technicians (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid state driver’s license with ability to drive for extended periods; must be available for call-in work and on-call scheduling as required.
