Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Syracuse, New York (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to drive business process optimization and automation within a large-scale transformation program. Our team supports key distributed energy resources initiatives and collaborates closely with business and technology stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design business process workflows that ensure the satisfaction of rules, obligations, controls, and expected service levels.
- Implement and optimize business processes supporting Net Metering, Remote / Virtual Net Metering, Host / Satellite relationships, and Community DG program features.
- Drive the integration of automated invoicing, financial reconciliation, and dispute resolution processes to maximize accuracy and minimize errors.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, support deliverables, and ensure standardization across jurisdictions during system implementation.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in utility billing operations, rate calculations, invoicing, or revenue assurance, preferably within the utility industry.
- Proven experience delivering functional products in medium to large-scale Customer Information System (CIS) projects.
- Strong knowledge of utility billing methodologies, proration, adjustments, dispute resolution, and exception handling.
- Hands-on configuration experience with relevant CIS platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
