Job Title: Technician – Structures – B Shift
Location: Merritt Island, Florida (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking skilled professionals to enhance production capabilities and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in large-scale aerospace structural assembly. Our team plays a vital role in supporting efficient workflow and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Configure new production work areas and assemble essential tooling to support high-rate manufacturing transitions.
- Operate precision calibrated tools and conduct detailed inspection to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements that optimize productivity, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Drill precision holes, install structural fasteners, and perform surface preparation and assembly with both metallic and composite materials.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing, structures, or a related field.
- Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings, use hand tools and drills, and work with precision calibration instruments such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, and optical measuring equipment.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate equipment including scissor lifts and boom lifts.
- Proficiency with adhesives, sealants, thermal blankets, and digital tools such as Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
