Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Farmers Branch, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to deliver critical database engineering solutions that enable risk mitigation, revenue generation, and cost reduction. Our team is dedicated to supporting high-volume, enterprise-level OLTP database systems while driving process improvement and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the collection, normalization, and analysis of datasets across multiple data platforms.
- Design and build data service infrastructure to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Lead technical workstreams and drive operational initiatives, including automation and process redesign.
- Ensure data system functionality by partnering with analytics, engineering, operations, and security teams.
Required:
- Strong hands-on experience designing and operating high-volume, enterprise OLTP databases supporting mission-critical transactions.
- Advanced SQL and performance tuning expertise, with hands-on experience in both MySQL and Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience with operational best practices including backup/restore validation, patch planning, monitoring/alerting, incident response, and runbooks.
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across cross-functional technical teams.
