Job Title: User Experience (UX) Researcher III
Location: New York, New York (Fully Remote) – MUST sit in EST timezone (start time is 7AM EST)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Senior User Researcher to join our team, focusing on delivering exceptional mobile experiences. Our team is dedicated to shaping product direction through insightful research, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of strategic decisions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Define, plan, and conduct research across mobile experience initiatives, covering the full range of methods from generative to evaluative
  • Deliver evidence-based insights that guide product strategy and UX direction in fast-moving, high-stakes bets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering to ensure work is human-centred and grounded in real user needs
  • Represent research with senior stakeholders— bringing findings to life through clear storytelling, workshops, and live discussion
  • Synthesise across projects where relevant, connecting insights to build a coherent picture of user needs
  • Contribute to the health and capability of the broader UR team

Requirements: 

  • 10+ years of experience in User Experience Research within technology or entertainment industries
  • Deep expertise in qualitative research methods, including interviews, ethnography, usability testing, and concept testing
  • Experience with surveys and exposure to mixed methods, with a primarily qualitative focus
  • Strong background in consumer-facing product research; experience in tech or consulting environments preferred
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and influence decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, confident engaging with senior audiences and leading discussions
  • Ability to quickly ramp up, handle ambiguity, and translate unstructured problems into actionable research plans
  • Strong systems thinking and UX expertise, with the ability to drive scalable, cohesive user experiences
