Job Title: IT Desktop Support Technician
Location: Manvel, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive professional to provide project management and technical coordination for infrastructure projects and operational initiatives. Our team values strong customer service, technical support, and a solutions-focused approach for ensuring seamless IT operations at assigned sites.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for IT-related concerns, taking ownership of all issues, escalations, and resolutions for the assigned site.
- Support all hardware and software on company desktops, including installation, troubleshooting, and providing expert second-level desktop support.
- Maintain up-to-date inventories for PCs and accessories, document service calls, and promote IT standards at assigned locations.
- Collaborate with other IT groups for hardware/software rollouts, product testing, and execution of IT initiatives; provide training to end users as needed.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; eligibility to permanently work in the US.
- Two or more years of work-related experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector, with proven expertise supporting PC, LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft applications, mobile device setups (iOS, Androids, Air Cards), and printer installations; ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid TWIC card, reliable personal vehicle, clean driving record with no major violations in the last three years, and willingness to travel up to 80% within approximately 100-mile radius for site visits.
