Job Title: Lean Practitioner
Location: Everett, Washington (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced facilitator to deliver engaging and impactful 5S and visual management training sessions to large groups within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Our team values individuals who can drive workplace organization initiatives, collaborating across shifts and locations to ensure consistent adoption and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver frequent 5S, visual management, and workplace organization training sessions to groups of 20+ participants in a classroom setting while minimizing production disruption.
- Coordinate training schedules with production teams and align training content with site goals and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisory and continuous improvement teams to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
- Facilitate follow-up and sustainment activities to embed 5S standards and drive ongoing improvement across shifts and multiple Puget Sound locations.
Required:
- Education and experience typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., master’s degree plus 4 years, or 10 years’ relevant work experience).
- Demonstrated expertise delivering large-group training events, with in-depth knowledge of 5S and Lean principles in a manufacturing or continuous improvement setting.
- Proven self-starter with strong presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills, capable of independently facilitating training across multiple shifts and locations.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel around the Puget Sound area to support multiple manufacturing sites, with adaptability to work with multidisciplinary and unionized teams.
