Job Title: Software Engineer – Systems
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced systems engineer with a strong software background to drive airworthiness documentation and product integration efforts. Our team values expertise in certification processes and safety-critical software for supporting key aerospace projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration and analysis of supplier DO-178-C artifact data with developed airworthiness documentation and products.
- Support airworthiness certification efforts by applying expertise in software processes and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure documentation meets industry and organizational requirements.
- Participate in meetings and communications, including MS Teams calls, to facilitate project milestones and technical reviews.
Required:
- Demonstrated airworthiness certification experience with emphasis on safety-critical systems.
- Hands-on experience with DO-178-C, AC-17-01, and MIL-HDBK-516-C processes.
- Strong software engineering background and proficiency in relevant technical environments.
- Education or advanced technical training in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, with at least 9 years of related professional experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master + 7 years).
