Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ Late Shift
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a committed professional to join our team in supporting patients as they navigate prescription medication access and assistance programs. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the patient experience by providing knowledgeable, empathetic support and facilitating smooth interactions with healthcare providers and pharmacies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance to patients, physicians, and pharmacies regarding access to care and reimbursement for prescription medications.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by focusing on patient empathy and ensuring ease of program use and medication adherence.
- Resolve inquiries via inbound and outbound calls, and refer issues to appropriate internal teams as necessary.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks such as mail sorting and claims processing as assigned.
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in health care or case management within a high-volume contact center or similar environment.
- Strong customer empathy, emotional intelligence, and communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly in both spoken and written English.
- Ability to adapt to various situations, effectively problem solve, and utilize critical thinking to resolve issues.
