Job Title: Device Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support ongoing lifecycle management and development activities for complex electromechanical combination products within a leading regulated environment. Our team focuses on continuous improvement, product reliability, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide lifecycle management support for electromechanical combination products, including design improvements, post-market activities, and issue resolution to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead complaint investigations by conducting failure analysis, root cause identification, and developing data-driven action plans with quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.
  • Drive and manage quality system processes such as CAPAs, deviations, and change controls, ensuring robust documentation and timely closure aligned with regulatory protocols.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to maintain supply continuity, support component updates, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required:

  • Doctorate degree or Master’s degree and at least 2 years of experience; or Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience or Associate’s degree and at least 8 years of experience or high school diploma/GED and at least 10 years of experience.
  • Experience supporting lifecycle management and quality processes for electromechanical platforms, combination products, or medical devices in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven skills in performing root cause analysis, technical problem-solving, and leading complaint investigations with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage documentation for quality system processes, and communicate technical information effectively.
