Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Long Beach, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to drive technical validation and proposal development for modifications on commercial aircraft. Our team values collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation to shape the future of aerospace technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Statements of Work for requests for proposals and catalogs, including engineering hours, flow time, and parts requirements for modifications services.
- Coordinate with design and engineering groups to ensure proposals align with resource constraints and organizational needs.
- Conduct technical research to confirm the accuracy of change descriptions and identify prerequisites for modification implementation.
- Perform preliminary risk assessments, classify project categories per safety assessment requirements, and incorporate lessons learned to enhance future proposals.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- At least 5 years of aviation experience in engineering or maintenance functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey task progress and technical challenges to team members and leadership.
