Job Title: Operating Engineer
Location: Austin, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide comprehensive technical maintenance support for commercial building systems. Our team values expertise in facility operations and encourages collaborative problem solving to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment spanning mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts for HVAC systems and associated equipment.
- Monitor and record equipment readings, make necessary adjustments, and maintain compliance with safety procedures and hazardous material protocols.
- Oversee tool and instrument inventory, support contracted maintenance, and uphold facility standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
