Job Title: Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer
Location: Everett, Washington (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a professional with strong technical expertise to lead root cause investigations related to regulatory compliance issues and support airplane certification across the product lifecycle. Our team values clear communication, initiative, and robust collaboration to enhance product safety and maintain alignment with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structured investigations for regulatory compliance issues, guiding engineering teams through problem definition, root cause analysis, containment, and verification actions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including functional groups, certification experts, and management, to ensure resolution and alignment throughout the investigative process.
- Partner closely with Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA) to ensure investigation documentation meets regulatory expectations.
- Continuously collaborate with enterprise groups to improve processes and tools for future-readiness and maintain consistency across the organization.
Required:
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work 100% on-site in Everett, WA; virtual work may be considered for candidates with demonstrable significant capability.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements; only candidates who are a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 are eligible.
