Job Title: Junior Logistics Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support supply chain operations, optimizing the flow of goods from domestic vendors to stores. Our team values quick thinking and adaptability to ensure products are delivered efficiently to keep retail environments dynamic and fully stocked.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate inbound transportation from vendors to distribution centers and consolidation points using a Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Source and select carriers for freight to optimize costs and transit times, evaluating and recommending effective routing solutions.
- Assess carrier capacity and performance, monitoring on-time delivery, EDI compliance, and acceptance/decline rates for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate daily with carriers, vendors, transportation managers, and key internal partners to ensure operational excellence and execute logistics initiatives.
Required:
- Experience utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for planning and coordinating inbound freight.
- Proven ability to analyze routing solutions and develop optimal freight movement strategies across various transportation modes such as truckload, intermodal, and less-than-truckload (LTL).
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate regional financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with carriers, vendors, and internal logistics partners.
