Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: South Bend, Indiana (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to maintaining facility operations through proactive repairs and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and food equipment systems. Our team supports the uninterrupted functioning of core assets by ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient environments for operations to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on lighting, HVAC/R, building systems, and food equipment as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and state, county, or city ordinances, including safe handling and storage of materials.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, plumbing, minor electrical issues, and support conveyor, control network, and sortation systems.
- Document work performed and materials used, participate in technical and safety training, and support operations with flexibility regarding scheduling and tasks.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with electrical troubleshooting including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems, ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., access all facility areas, work with ladders up to 30 feet, and perform frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening processes.
