Job Title: Traffic Administrator
Location: Shakopee, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for international trade processes and compliance. Our team values an individual who will help streamline import/export activities and work cross-functionally to maintain the highest standards of service and regulatory adherence within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments while ensuring compliance with all import/export regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments, freight forwarders, and carriers to resolve shipment issues, monitor performance, and select cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Prepare and issue documentation for import/export transactions, updating electronic logs to track and monitor timely processing and maintain audit-ready records.
- Advise teams on trade terms, analyze customs compliance issues, prepare necessary reports, and provide excellent customer service and support on freight-related inquiries.
Required:
- High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in transportation, trade compliance, or logistics; direct transportation training/education may be substituted for experience.
- Ability to research, analyze, and address customs compliance issues while utilizing relevant trade compliance software programs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with experience collaborating across teams and handling trade documents, freight quotes, and service issue reporting.
