Job Title: Accounts Payable Representative – Intermediate
Location: INVER GROVE, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our client’s Accounts Payable operations by processing vendor invoices and ensuring compliance with company policies. Our team values accuracy, customer service, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase order and non-purchase order invoices efficiently and in compliance with company procedures, working closely with vendors and internal business partners to resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor invoice processing, ensuring timely payments and supporting the Accounts Payable team as needed.
- Support Sourcing and business unit representatives with purchase order maintenance and provide assistance with invoice-related inquiries.
- Identify internal control gaps and process inefficiencies, communicating potential solutions to leadership while participating in special projects as assigned.
Required:
- Associate degree in Accounting or a related business program, or a minimum of 4 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience (additional experience may offset education requirement).
- Experience with accounts payable processing, with the ability to support the full procure-to-pay process and provide high-quality customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
