Job Title: Process Development Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual to support the development and scale-up of upstream and downstream processes for early-stage clinical drug substance manufacturing. Our team provides hands-on laboratory experience and opportunities for professional growth by working on advanced bioprocess development projects across multiple therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments in mammalian cell culture and protein purification at bench and pilot scale.
- Document experimental data accurately and maintain detailed laboratory notebooks.
- Analyze experimental results and present findings to the team, contributing to technical reports and regulatory support as needed.
- Participate in technology development initiatives to enhance process reliability and efficiency within a collaborative team environment.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience OR high school diploma / GED with 4 years of experience.
- Relevant hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture or protein purification.
- Educational background in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocessing, or a related scientific field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
