Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team developing and implementing advanced production and tooling methodologies. Our team is dedicated to integrating technical solutions and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies, supporting program architecture for build and leading manufacturing plans.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams to integrate cross-functional technical solutions and conduct producibility and variation analyses.
- Provide producibility information for project plans, assist in documenting best practices, and analyze design/build concepts to evaluate definitions for manufacturability.
- Resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule and validate production readiness of solutions to complex manufacturing problems.
Required:
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- 5 or more years of related professional exempt engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience in the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials, and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, or similar systems.
