Job Title: Mobile Engineer HVAC/R
Location: Jackson, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking a skilled professional to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in a facility environment. We rely on this position to ensure optimal equipment efficiency, proactive repairs, and a safe working atmosphere for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and responsive repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems within the facility.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors and exteriors, and related production equipment.
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence tasks, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
- Comply with all safety procedures, complete hazard assessments, and maintain good housekeeping standards in assigned work areas.
Required:
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with demonstrated expertise in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
- Universal CFC recovery certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days from start date.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, frequently climb, bend, kneel, stoop, extend overhead, and drive for extended periods as needed, must be available for on-call work as scheduled by the employer.
