Job Title: Turnaround Specialist
Location: Mont Belvieu, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our team in managing complex industrial project areas throughout their life cycles. Our team relies on this critical position to ensure effective planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance, upgrades, and modifications on existing assets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct walk-downs, verify project materials, document job steps, and resolve field discrepancies to ensure thorough preparation.
- Input job data into planning tools, collaborate with scheduling, materials, and document control teams, and validate material requirements.
- Oversee contractor onboarding, monitor safety and site progress, and coordinate activities to eliminate obstacles and ensure project advancement.
- Maintain accurate project status reporting, attend meetings, monitor workplace safety, and assist the team with ongoing and additional assignments as needed.
Required:
- Direct experience participating in turnarounds within industrial operations is required.
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, technical manuals, blueprints, P&IDs, and work permits.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools and equipment, along with basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs., manually transport loads up to 75 lbs., apply up to 100 foot lbs. of torque, perform physically demanding tasks, and work indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions.
