Job Title: Piping Designer
Location: Houston, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to facilitate drafting and design support across complex projects, ensuring efficient and effective delivery. Our team values technical expertise for the development, coordination, and maintenance of precise engineering documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate project design and drafting, addressing drawing development issues and drafting changes to record drawings.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment/instrument lists for plant, pipeline, and related construction projects.
- Assist in developing scopes of work and coordinating the distribution of design packages to all project stakeholders.
- Maintain records of technical design documents and participate in the development and maintenance of standard drawings and procedures.
Required:
- Experience in design and drafting within plant, pipeline, or facility construction projects.
- Ability to prepare and revise process flow diagrams, P&ID, plot plans, and material take-offs.
- Proficiency in coordinating technical input with project managers, vendors, and other engineering/construction professionals.
- Capability to generate material requisitions, data sheets, and maintain accurate technical documentation throughout project lifecycles.
