Job Title: Federal Telecommunications Engineer
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified professional to lead communication system designs and coordinate efforts across various disciplines. Our team values technical expertise in telecommunications and a commitment to high standards for federal project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead communication systems design and coordinate with other technical disciplines.
- Create conceptual and detailed systems designs, including production of design drawings, specifications, and analysis deliverables.
- Coordinate drawing production with a BIM/CAD team and perform quality control duties, including independent technical reviews.
- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff, while managing assigned budgets, scopes, and schedules.
Required:
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
- Ability to complete all pre-employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- U.S. citizenship required to support U.S. Government Agency/Department clients.
- 4+ years of experience designing telecommunications systems and strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices related to Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
