Job Title: Application Engineer
Location: Huntsville, Alabama (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to provide technical support for post-delivery activities on complex, custom test systems. Our team is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction by handling technical requests and leading resolution efforts in collaboration with engineering groups and end users.
Responsibilities:
- Support site acceptance testing, commissioning, training, and system startup activities.
- Act as the primary customer contact, communicating technical issues and insights to business and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot, reproduce, document, and coordinate resolution of technical issues across teams, ensuring ownership from start to finish.
- Deliver on-site service, repair, installation, and post-deployment consulting to optimize system uptime and customer effectiveness.
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including customer-facing technical support roles in the Test & Measurement field.
- Strong hands-on experience with NI Platforms (LabVIEW, PXI), high-level programming languages such as LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#, and hardware/software integration.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold DoD Secret Clearance, and demonstrated expertise in test engineering, electronics, and computer architectures.
