Job Title: Senior Quality Control Associate
Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team focused on enhancing critical quality systems supporting biologic product safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log samples while verifying documentation and integrity, assigning IDs in LIMS, and preparing samples for testing through aliquoting, labeling, and storage.
- Perform routine chemical analyses such as potency and purity using validated methods, execute cell-based bioassays, and support PCR testing for microbiology.
- Maintain sample storage areas according to SOPs, monitor storage conditions, conduct inventory checks, and ensure adherence to GMP and SOP procedures.
- Collaborate with quality control, manufacturing, and laboratory teams by managing sample pickups and deliveries, updating LIMS, supporting process improvements, and participating in SOP reviews and audits.
Required:
- BS in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a Science-related field, or a high school diploma/GED plus 2 years of work experience, or an associate degree and 6 months of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in a GMP environment or laboratory setting.
- Hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Basic understanding of quality control testing workflows, documentation, and maintaining compliance with SOPs and safety protocols.
