Job Title: Senior Financial Analytics Analyst
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical and collaborative professional to drive the development of analytics and reporting solutions with a strong focus on project and business unit financial data. Responsibilities:
- Analyze large financial datasets to create and manage new data products and models that support business insight and decision-making.
- Lead initiatives to develop role-based access controls and maintain data governance standards within the finance domain.
- Act as a key liaison between project teams, IT, and various finance departments to support project and business reporting needs.
- Coach and mentor staff, facilitate user training for financial reporting solutions, and contribute to process improvements and innovation.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 8 years of professional accounting experience; extra credit may be given for public accounting experience.
- Strong functional understanding of data models and proficiency with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Advanced skills in SQL for querying and manipulating data, with solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Demonstrated experience as an audit contact or in auditing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and influence others positively.
