Job Title: Feed Mill Operator – Direct Hire
Location: Corson, South Dakota (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in an essential role that supports agricultural operations by ensuring the efficient production of livestock feed. Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor feed mill equipment, including grinders, mixers, and batching/pelleting systems to ensure quality feed production.
- Handle and move feed ingredients, loading and unloading trucks, and prepare loadouts with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor troubleshooting on facility equipment, promptly reporting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment through daily housekeeping, spill cleanup, and ongoing site upkeep, following all safety protocols.
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, agriculture, or general labor environments.
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, or mobile equipment as needed.
- Meet all physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, working at heights up to 120 ft, and using both automated and manual tools.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons and comply with all pre-employment screening requirements, which may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, and physical screening.
