Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee projects from pre-construction through completion and warranty. Our team values safety, client management, and successful project execution, ensuring operational standards are met throughout each phase.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities and drive successful execution of one or multiple projects, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, manage project planning, scheduling, estimating, and risk assessment while supporting client relationships and contract negotiations.
- Direct subcontractor and supplier activities, facilitate documentation turnover, permit compliance, and ensure implementation of construction staffing and project execution plans.
- Manage internal and external project reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, status updates, as well as project closeout, warranty administration, and quality assessments.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software is preferred.
