Job Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to join our team, where we focus on supporting dynamic supply chain operations. Our team values analytical thinkers who are eager to contribute to efficient sourcing and procurement processes that help achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials, services, and equipment to specified requirements while maintaining quality and cost objectives.
- Support scheduling by ensuring delivery of all purchased items aligns with engineering, maintenance, and operational needs.
- Provide analytical and research support for sourcing activities, including spend category analysis, market analysis, and supplier benchmarking.
- Coordinate document flows, process invoices, and assist with supplier relationship management within established sourcing methodologies.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required for placement; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or Sourcing preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement; experience in the energy industry, process, chemicals, or related industries is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and experience working with Oracle Financial and purchase order management software preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills; demonstrated client service and supplier management experience.
