Job Title: Network Operations Specialist
Location: Houston, Texas (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in overseeing critical IT network infrastructure in a 24×7 environment. Our focus is on delivering reliable support for enterprise network and server operations, ensuring operational efficiency and stability across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second line support for Pipeline Operations Control desk issues, including phone systems, SCADA servers/systems, remote SCADA devices, and network-supported infrastructure.
  • Monitor, debug, and resolve tier 1 and tier 2 issues related to Cisco infrastructure, data network circuits, Windows server environments, and remote SCADA and plant control networks.
  • Utilize network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes, nGeniusONE, NetBrain, LiveNX, Infoblox, and Cisco APIC to maintain network hardware, software, and applications.
  • Support and manage the escalation of Support Center tickets, ensuring timely documentation, troubleshooting, and resolution of server administration, network infrastructure, and IT application concerns.

Required:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting enterprise Cisco Network environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
