Job Title: OpenShift Engineer
Location: Cleveland, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to support and maintain RedHat OpenShift clusters in a dynamic production environment. Our team relies on this position to ensure high reliability and efficient performance of critical platforms within an organization focused on customer service and technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and upgrade RedHat OpenShift clusters in production and non-production environments.
- Perform Linux system administration including troubleshooting, patching, and monitoring cluster health.
- Develop and maintain shell or Python scripts for automation and monitoring purposes.
- Collaborate with development and release teams to support deployment, releases, and ensure compliance with security, backup, and disaster recovery policies.
Required:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift (v4.x preferred) and Linux (RedHat Linux, CoreOS) system administration.
- Strong expertise in shell scripting, bash, and/or Python for automation tasks.
- Proven experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Helm, Docker, and GitOps workflows.
- Certification as a RedHat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent knowledge.
