Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Pgh Late Shift
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are dedicated to enhancing patient access to healthcare services and prescription medications. Our team plays a crucial role in managing patient experiences, ensuring seamless access to copay assistance programs, and providing exceptional support throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims, assisting patients, physicians, and pharmacies with access to care and reimbursement needs.
  • Focus on patient empathy and consumer experience to ensure ease of use of program goals and drive medication adherence.
  • Refer requests for escalation as needed and collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management and IT to resolve issues.
  • Perform other assignments as needed to support the team and enhance patient care.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare or case management in a high-volume contact center environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits, healthcare insurance, and/or medical billing is a plus.
  • Experience with call center software such as Five9 or In-Contact is advantageous.
