Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Pgh

Job Summary: We are seeking highly empathetic professionals to join our team, delivering health care services and enabling access to care for prescription medications. Our team is committed to supporting patients, physicians, and pharmacies with concierge-level services that ensure seamless access and adherence to copay assistance programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims, serving patients, physicians, and pharmacies regarding access to care and reimbursement needs.
  • Provide program information, eligibility, reimbursement support, and guidance to patients, focusing on empathetic service and ease of use.
  • Refer requests for escalation as needed, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform additional assignments as required to support copay assistance programs and enhance the patient experience.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of healthcare or case management experience in a high-volume contact center or similar environment (preferred).
  • Strong customer empathy, emotional intelligence, and communication skills, including conveying information in clear, easy-to-understand language.
  • Experience with pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, medical billing, or call center operating metrics and performance management (a plus).
