Job Title: Engineer – GSE & Tooling III
Location: Kent, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a role that directly impacts the history of space exploration. Our team is committed to a culture of safety and innovation, working collaboratively to design and develop ground support equipment and tooling for spaceflight systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and modify 3D models and drawings of test equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
- Create and modify test configuration assemblies and develop associated BOMs and drawings.
- Incorporate drafting standards and perform model and drawing check activities during release reviews.
- Support test engineers in test planning and address questions pertaining to test setup and load applications.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing models/assemblies and creating drawings.
- Strong mechanical design and integration skills using Creo Parametric / ProE software and Windchill or equivalent.
- Experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle GSE fixtures, tooling, and/or structures.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, current Green Card holder, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
