Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We seek professionals eager to leverage advanced industrial engineering concepts and tools to drive improvements in manufacturing and service operations. Our team focuses on process optimization, integration of lean practices, and impactful project management for robust operational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced industrial engineering concepts, analysis tools, and decision making to promote and implement process improvements in manufacturing and service environments.
- Research, design, develop, and implement processes that enhance schedule performance, lower costs, and improve quality using lean principles and engineering methodologies.
- Independently manage, define, and control the scope, cost, and timing of projects, including risk analysis using project management tools.
- Lead metrics, data analysis, and improvement plans for productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality, including Lean events and special initiatives.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a directly related technical field (including recognized non-US equivalents).
- Two or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
- Two or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Education/experience typically includes advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, and five or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (such as PhD or Master’s degree plus three years of related experience).
