Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Pgh Late Shift
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient support services within healthcare programs focused on prescription medication access. Our team values high empathy and strong communication skills to deliver a seamless, concierge experience for patients, physicians, and pharmacies.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls, addressing patient, physician, and pharmacy inquiries about prescription medication assistance programs.
  • Deliver a high level of service, focusing on patient empathy and medication adherence, while guiding patients through program features and eligibility.
  • Manage claims processing and handle access to care and reimbursement needs as volume requires, referring requests for escalation as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management, IT, and Patient Support to resolve issues and ensure overall program support.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED completion is required.
  • At least 1 year of healthcare or case management experience in a high-volume contact center or similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer empathy and soft skills, with proven patient care orientation.
  • Effective communication abilities, including clear verbal and written language skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
