Job Title: Sourcing Execution Manager
Location: Princeton, New Jersey (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with a leading organization to hire a Sourcing Execution Manager for a high-impact role supporting R&D sourcing activities. Our team is seeking a professional who can help drive sourcing strategy execution, supplier negotiations, and stakeholder alignment across clinical development-related categories.
Responsibilities:
- Execute sourcing strategies for R&D categories, including CROs, study monitoring, site management, and clinical trial support suppliers.
- Lead RFx activities, contract negotiations, and rate card discussions to support business priorities and sourcing objectives.
- Partner with clinical study teams to implement preferred sourcing strategies at the study level and support timely contract execution.
- Monitor compliance, develop operational metrics, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and support annual savings goals.
Required:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in R&D strategic sourcing roles, including work through transformational efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sciences, or relevant technical expertise.
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech R&D category, with strong understanding of new drug development.
- Experience leading and executing large, complex sourcing events in the R&D category and negotiating supplier contracts and rate cards.
- Experience interacting with clinical study teams and suppliers, plus proficiency in building stakeholder relationships and supporting sourcing strategies with minimal oversight.
- Basic understanding of ICH E6 guidelines, familiarity with emerging Procurement technologies, and demonstrated data analysis skills.
