Job Title: Electrician
Location: McPherson, Kansas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting a search for an Electrician to help maintain safe, reliable electrical systems within a busy industrial environment. This position is responsible for hands-on electrical installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work that supports operational continuity and workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across assigned equipment and systems.
- Support safe work practices when performing energized work, working at heights, and working in confined spaces.
- Assist with quality control audits, inspections, and deficiency reporting to help maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Provide hands-on support for electrical work related to building systems, lighting, emergency power, generators, and other facility maintenance tasks.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to use computers, Microsoft Office Suite, the internet, and web-based applications effectively.
- NFPA 70e certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physical conditions that may include bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, reaching, and extended periods in varied environments.
